The 2019 International Graduate Workshop on Geo-Informatics (IGWG2019) will be held on June 26-28, 2019 in Wuhan, China. It aims to bring together leading graduate candidates, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results in all aspects of geoinformatics. IGWG2019 provides an academic exchange platform for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends, and concerns as well as the practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted across the diverse fields intersecting with geoinformatics.
Participants can broaden their horizons while improving bonds of friendship between universities and institutions in China and the world. Young scholars and postgraduates are warmly welcomed to participate.

7. Publication and Presentation
Authors of accepted extended abstract or full paper will be invited to give oral (or poster) presentations in the workshop, and attend the GeoInformatics Summer School that will be organized on July 1-7, 2019. Detailed information can be found on the workshop website: http://www.lmars.whu.edu.cn/geosummerschool/index.jsp
A selection of high quality papers will be recommended to the journal of GSIS (Geo-spatial Information Science, ISBN 1009-5020). GSIS is the first English academic journal in China for Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing and it also a part of the 13th Five-year Plan of Wuhan University and the “Double World-class” Plan of Journals Construction. In 2016 the journal was transformed into an open access (OA) publishing model to boost international communications. At present, this journal is included in international databases such as ESCI, Scopus, CSCD, GeoBase and PubMed.
Extended abstracts will be viewed and selected by referees; all extended abstracts accepted by the workshop are eligible for awards. Based on the number of extended abstracts in each topic and presentation, we will set Excellent Presentation Awards, Excellent Participation Awards and Interdisciplinary Presentation Awards.
