7. Publication and Presentation
Authors of accepted extended abstract or full paper will be invited to give oral presentations in the workshop. For IGWG2020, submissions will not be published. For authors’ published papers, only extended abstracts are needed.
A selection of high quality full papers will be recommended to the journal of GSIS (Geospatial Information Science, ISBN 1009-5020). GSIS is the first English academic journal in China for Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing and it also a part of the 13th Fiveyear Plan of Wuhan University and the “Double World-class” Plan of Journals Construction. In 2016 the journal was transformed into an open access (OA) publishing model to boost international communications. At present, this journal is included in international databases such as SCI-Expand, ESCI, Scopus, CSCD, GeoBase and PubMed.
Extended abstracts will be viewed and selected by referees. All extended abstracts and full papers accepted by the workshop are eligible for awards. Based on the number of submissions in each topic and presentation, we will set Excellent Presentation Awards, Excellent Participation Awards and Interdisciplinary Presentation Awards. Any award winner will obtain a travel allowance as long as you come to LIESMARS for any academic exchange or degree study within 3 years. Travel allowances from different awards can be added together and the funding will rise up to 70% of the total allowances. Travel allowance is limited to the economy-class seat in airplane, second-class seat of hard berth in trains. The following is the award funding guidelines of single award:
